DUBLIN, Ireland (November 3rd, 2025)<\/strong> \u2013 Allergy Standards Ltd (ASL), the scientific standards body behind the internationally recognized Asthma & Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong> Certification Program, today announced the launch of a new sub-category within its Certification Standard ASP:08 for Air Cleaners.<\/p>\n

The addition, designated ASP:08-09, applies to portable air cleaners typically designed for smaller spaces of up to 250 square feet, with mechanical filtration and a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) below 170 cubic feet per minute (cfm).<\/p>\n
