This trend is evident from the number of global cleaning and hygiene professionals our team engaged with, who are eager to achieve certification so their products meet consumer demands.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allergystandards.com\/products-categories\/\"> <strong>Asthma &#038; Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0Certification Program<\/a>\u00a0tests products such as surface cleaning sprays, dusting wipes and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asthmaandallergyfriendly.com\/USA\/certified_products\/products_categories\/laundry\/laundry-detergent\/\">laundry detergents.<\/a> Cleaning product ingredients are many and varied, and remain so far largely unregulated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order for a cleaning product to earn Certification, strict standards for appropriate levels and ingredients must be met when:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Evaluating ingredients for toxicological, allergenic and sensitizing purposes<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing airborne chemicals during use<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing particle concentration during use<\/li>\n<li>Evaluating allergen levels after use to ensure the product is reducing allergen burden from surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The\u00a0 <strong>Asthma &#038; Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0Certification Program ensures that levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are very low in any products that are awarded the certification or that their concentration is low enough to warrant no concern for sensitive individuals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All clients of the Program are supported with promotional and marketing collateral, educational presentations and research findings so that they are fully informed on all benefits of the certification, and can empower consumers through scientific knowledge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interclean Amsterdam is the ultimate event for anyone passionate about hygiene and cleanliness, and working hard at this year\u2019s event were our team members from Allergy Standards, the scientific arm of the Certification Program,\u00a0Ingo Weinhold\u00a0and\u00a0Richard Bromhead.
