(May 1, 2024) &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.org\/\">The\u00a0Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America\u00a0<\/a>(AAFA) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.allergystandards.com\/\">Allergy Standards Limited <\/a>(ASL) \u00a0announced that Knauf\u2019s HVAC\u00a0fiberglass\u00a0insulation\u00a0product\u00a0line, Knauf Performance+, has been Certified by the <strong> <strong>Asthma &#038; Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong><\/strong> Certification Program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong> <strong>Asthma &#038; Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong><\/strong> Certification Program is a collaborative initiative between\u00a0 ASL\u00a0and AAFA\u00a0that helps consumers identify products more suitable for people with asthma and allergies. Products undergo independent testing to meet scientific standards established by the program. Only products that meet those rigorous standards earn the certification mark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knauf\u00a0Insulation,\u00a0Inc.,\u00a0a\u00a0leading,\u00a0family-owned\u00a0global\u00a0manufacturer\u00a0of\u00a0fiberglass\u00a0insulation, is launching this new expanded Certified line to coincide with National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month, observed in May. With over 100 million people in the United States affected by asthma and\/or allergies, Knauf\u2019s initiative addresses the critical need for indoor air quality improvement.
