  • Kill dust mites.<\/li>\n
  • Work without exposing you to volatile organic compounds (VOCs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    TOP LOADING WASHING MACHINES<\/p>\n

    For a washing machine to be Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong><\/span>, it must meet the following standards:<\/p>\n

    • Reduce allergens and irritants from washable items.<\/li>\n
    • Reach washing temperatures above 130\u00b0F.<\/li>\n
    • Kill dust mites.<\/li>\n

      For a dryer to be Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong><\/span>, it must meet
      \nthe following standards:<\/p>\n

      • Reduce allergens and irritants from washable items.<\/li>\n
      • Reach washing temperatures above 130\u00b0F.<\/li>\n
      • Kill dust mites.<\/li>\n
      • Keep humidity levels low during a tumble dry.<\/li>\n
      • Obtain low moisture levels after a tumble dry.<\/li>\n
      • Work without exposing you to VOCs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Steam-Based Clothing Care must be able to reduce house dust mite, bacteria and fungi and not worsen a home\u2019s indoor air quality.<\/p>\n

        For a steam-based clothing care system to be Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly\u00ae<\/strong><\/span>, it must meet the following standards:<\/p>\n

        – Relative humidity in the surrounding environment & clothing moisture levels must remain below certain levels
        \n– Must be able to kill house dust mites
        \n– Must not promote the growth of bacteria or fungi (mold)
        \n– Must not disperse bacteria and fungi (mold) from contaminated water sources<\/p>\n<\/div>
