We would recommend getting the Dyson air purifier even if you suffer from certain respiratory conditions as it is CERTIFIED asthma and allergy friendly, and on top of that, has also been awarded the Quietmark accreditation. It is arguable that the air purifier is a bit expensive, but if you can’t afford it, you should be able to find a lower price alternative, but it won’t have the money back guarantee that it comes with when brand new.
