She worked at  IQ Solutions, a national PR, marketing and IT firm specializing in health communications, and at Golin-Harris, an international communications firm. Her work has included corporate, nonprofit and government organizations including the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, National Institute for Drug Abuse, CDC, Habitat for Humanity, PCORI, Sodexo, Tobacco Free Florida, DC Health Exchange, the Fisher House Foundation and others
