For the first time, the asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program is exhibiting at the American Academy of Pediatrics Annual Meeting Oct. 25-28, 2019, in New Orleans. This national conference, which draws more than 10,000 health care professionals, is the most comprehensive pediatric meeting in the world. A variety of medical professionals, including pediatricians in general practice and subspecialties and other allied health professionals, will be in attendance. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the asthma & allergy friendly® Certification Program and for pediatricians to receive valuable educational material to take home to share with the families they treat.
“I am looking forward to meeting and introducing the CERTIFIED program to pediatricians who are many times the first to diagnose an infant or young child with asthma and allergies,” said Michele Cassalia, Director of Marketing for the Certification Program. “Research shows if you help families address triggers in their home environments, children do not end up in the emergency room as often. With asthma being the most common chronic disease in children and the top reason children are absent from school, it is important for pediatricians to learn about and recommend asthma & allergy friendly® CERTIFIED products for their patients’ homes.”
